The Textile ETP, in collaboration with CITEVE (PT), DITF (DE), ITA RWTH Aachen (DE), ITM TU Dresden (DE), STFI (DE), and TEX IS MORE (BE) launch a new European Masterclass Pilot in early 2023, focusing on Textile Digitalisation.
The 6-month pilot programme of 6 webinars covers textile digitalisation with introductions and some success cases of applied research (incl.EU/national project results), technology development, industry innovation & market trends from across Europe.
Besides gaining knowledge, understanding and practical insights from Europe’s leading innovators in textile digitalisation, the Masterclass Pilot also provides the opportunity to network with companies and experts in the field, from all across Europe.
What is the European Masterclass Pilot ‘Textile Digitalisation’?
The European Masterclass Pilot ‘Textile Digitalisation’ is addressed to professionals in the European textiles and clothing sector wishing to learn about the technology state-of-art of textile digitalisation, market and regulatory trends, major European and national programmes and initiatives, future trends, enabling design and business model innovation.
This Pilot prepares the ground for a potential full 15-month Masterclass Programme (October 2023-December 2024)
Who can benefit from this Masterclass Pilot?
Each subscriber organisation is free to follow the whole programme or a part of it, exploiting at its best the possibility to enrol multiple staff members per organisation with one single fee (by opting for the ‘Team’ subscription).
The programme can also be interesting for junior experts and researchers in the field of textile digitalisation, data, digital value chain and AI, to provide a wide range of recent developments and latest innovations in the market, industry, and from the policy perspective

The Masterclass will be mainly held online through 6 webinars, approx. 1 per month.
This masterclass pilot is free for all Textile ETP Members.
If you are not a Textile ETP Member, the subscription costs range from 200 € to 400 € (excl. of VAT) depending on the subscriber level chosen. The below table lists the various subscription levels and related costs and benefits. The fee covers the costs of attendance of all 6 webinars for all registered experts of the same subscriber organisation.
The fee also includes access to all course materials incl. video-recording, presentation slides, and short summaries of all webinars for the entire duration of the programme, conveniently accessible through an online collaboration platform.
Further benefits include targeted networking during all interactive online events as well as information sharing with other subscribers or expert speakers through the collaboration platform.
Yes, it is foreseen to keep subscriptions open during the entire programme period.
Late subscribers will receive full access to all materials including video recordings of past webinars. Late subscribers will have to pay the full programme fee.
Depending on the subscription level chosen, the subscriber organisation can enrol the following number of staff members:
Expert: 1 single staff member
Team: up to 5 staff members
If you are a Textile ETP Networking member, you get to enrol up to 2 staff members for free. If you are a Textile ETP Associate member, you can register as many participants as you need.
The Masterclass kicks off in January 2023, however, subscription is still possible. Late subscribers will have access to all previous webinars’ recordings and materials and will be charged the full amount of the Masterclass fee.
Each webinar is expected to last approximately 3.00 hours and will typically take place in the afternoon between 14.00 and 17.00 CET, although the exact timing can be adjusted to the preferences expressed by the subscribers.
