ETP members thanked the outgoing President Paolo Canonico for his leadership of the Textile ETP since 2013 and we are delighted that he will continue to serve in the Governing Board as the Vice President Treasurer. Paolo Canonico is the R&D Director, Saati Group, Italy. The nomination took place at the ETP’s General Assembly on 24 April in Brussels and the new President’s mandate will start on 1st July 2019. He will continue to be seconded by Katarzyna Grabowska and Braz Costa as Vice-Presidents, representing AUTEX and Textranet respectively.
The General Assembly approved the full slate of Governing Board members for the July 2019 to June 2021 period and adopted the new ETP 2025 strategy which should be fully operational at the beginning of 2020.
