Textile ETP announces the launch of a new initiative, “Textile ETP on Tour,” designed to provide a unique opportunity for Textile ETP members to explore hubs of textile innovation, fostering connections, collaboration, and knowledge exchange within the industry.

The Textile ETP, in partnership with TrusTrace, SmartexAI, ITA Academy, CITEVE, Finnish Textile & Fashion and EURATEX, proudly announces the launch of the DigitX Innovation Hub. This initiative is poised to be a central hub for textile companies, research organisations, brands, and retailers to converge, learn, network, and collaborate on the key topics related to the digitalisation of the textile sector.

On 26 November 2024, Textile ETP President Marina Crnoja-Cosic took part in a panel discussion organised by ANDRITZ, a global leader in innovative technologies, as part of the company’s celebration of the 40th anniversary of its Perfojet technology.

On 25-27 November 2024, Textile ETP participated in the SOLSTICE consortium’s second General Assembly in the Netherlands, sharing key project updates.

On 21-22 November 2024, Textile ETP, represented by Secretary General Lutz Walter and Sustainability Programmes Officer Tilla Kross participated in the Aachen-Dresden-Denkendorf Conference in Stuttgart, a key event gathering industry leaders and innovators in the textile sector.

On 19-20 November, Textile ETP Secretary General Lutz Walter inaugurated the 4th International Conference Circular Economy for Textiles and Plastics. The event, organised by our members Centexbel and Fedustria, took place in Ostend, Belgium, and gathered key players from across Europe to discuss advancements in circular economy practices for textiles and plastics.

On 12-13 November 2024, Textile ETP, in collaboration with Textils.CAT, hosted a two-day event in Barcelona, Spain. Project Manager Judith Bosch, and Communications Officer Matteo Mainiero, alongside members of the SmartX Innovation Hub, immersed themselves in the region’s advanced textile landscape, connecting with industry leaders and exploring pioneering developments.
