Textile ETP President at ANDRITZ's anniversary celebration

On 26 November 2024, Textile ETP President Marina Crnoja-Cosic took part in a panel discussion organised by ANDRITZ, a global leader in innovative technologies, as part of the company’s celebration of the 40th anniversary of its Perfojet technology.

The event, held to honour the significant milestones achieved by ANDRITZ Perfojet, brought together industry leaders from the paper, textile, and recycling sectors to explore how these industries can contribute to a more sustainable future.

The panel was a showcase of cross-industry collaboration, featuring high-profile participants such as Joachim Schönbeck, CEO of the ANDRITZ Group, and Andreas Lukas, Senior Vice President of ANDRITZ Nonwoven. Joining them were Julien Bras from Cellulose Valley, a cluster in sustainable cellulose innovation, and Jean Henin from Pellenc ST, known for its waste sorting and recycling solutions.

Discussions during the panel emphasised how the textile and paper industries are uniquely positioned to drive sustainable transformation. As global challenges like climate change and resource scarcity intensify, both sectors are exploring innovative ways to reduce environmental impact through technological advancements and circular economy practices.
