RESERVIST report on the best practices and lessons learned from the pandemic in the textile sector
The European textile sector, as almost all sectors, suffered significant loss and faced many challenges during the pandemic.
As part of the RESERVIST project, the Textile ETP organised a webinar in September 2022, gathering affected key stakeholders from the textile sector to share and discuss their experiences, challenges and insights. The webinar was attended by several textile SMEs, research and technology institutions and clusters, representing 12 European countries.
Following this event, the Textile ETP published a report on the best practices and lessons learned from the pandemic in the textile sector, focusing on SMEs, Research Technology Centres and Clusters. The report is available here.
The RESERVIST project aims to set up alternative lines called ‘reservist cells’, that can be activated within 48 hours, in order to switch easily from a day-to-day production line to one that focuses on products and services needed in time of crisis. More information about the project here.
