CITE meets in Türkiye for an Entrepreneurship Training and project meeting
From 8-10 November, the CITE project partners met in Bursa, Türkiye, for a dual-purpose initiative.
The city of Bursa, renowned as the capital of the Turkish textile industry, played host to a pivotal in-person meeting for the CITE Project. Organised by Istanbul University, a key partner in the project, the meeting gathered all project partner to delve into a comprehensive review of accomplishments and upcoming activities of CITE. The event also provided a unique opportunity to connect with local textile organisations, including the Uludag University Textile Engineering Department, Bursa Uludağ and Uludağ Textile Exporters' Association.
On 9 November, the CITE Project marked another milestone with the third entrepreneurship training for circularity in textiles at Bursa Uludag University. Over 40 students from various universities actively participated in this dynamic session, demonstrating a keen interest in advancing sustainability within the textile industry. This session, featuring presentations by industry experts, not only facilitated knowledge exchange but also encouraged active participation and engagement among the students.
