Textile ETP Board meet in Brussels to discuss strategic planning and future initiatives

On 14 November, Textile ETP convened its Board Meeting n Brussels to discuss the organisation's progress, future plans, and important decisions for the upcoming year.

The Textile ETP's Board Meeting was a pivotal event where we delved into the heart of strategic future planning. President Marina Crnoja-Cosic, Vice-Presidents Michael Kamm and António Braz Costa, and esteemed Board Members convened to discuss significant achievements and outline the path forward.

The meeting offered a comprehensive overview of recent activities, spotlighting the remarkable work undertaken for members, Masterclass participants, and Communities subscribers. The team's incredible efforts were showcased, reinforcing the commitment to advancing the textile industry.

Key decisions emerged, including maintaining 2024 membership fees at 2023 levels, ensuring continued accessibility for members. We also revealed plans to launch a new Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub in January 2024, building on the success of the 'Innovation in Circular & Biobased Textiles' Masterclass. Subscriptions are open, inviting industry professionals to join the next phase of textile innovation. Similarly, the SmartX Community is expanding its scope to cover technical textile innovation under the new SmartX Innovation Hub, aligning with the Textile ETP's commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.

Among the meeting's highlights was the announcement of the Textile ETP Annual Conference 2024 on May 14-15, 2024, in Belgium. This event will spotlight textile start-ups and scale-ups, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts. Save the date!
