Next year's Annual Textile ETP Conference and General Assembly will be organised for the first time outside Brussels. We will join the iTechStyle Summit, a well-established large-scale industry-oriented congress organised at the impressive Cruise Terminal building in Porto/Portugal on 28-30 April 2020. The event is expected to attract well over 500 participants, including a significant number of local textile and clothing companies - a great occasion to bring the ETP work closer to the industry.
The event will focus on the strategic innovation themes for textiles and clothing and how they link to the new HORIZON EUROPE research and innovation framework programme starting in 2021. The event will start mid-day on 28 April and finish in the afternoon of 30 April. As travel options to Porto are plentiful and accommodation and conference participation fees will be moderate, we expect many ETP members to join us for this premiere and hope that this will create an encouraging precedent for organising more ETP events across Europe in the future. More details about the programme, registration and logistical information will be made available in January.
