In late November the first open call for funding of the SmartX Accelerator Programme was launched. We are happy to announce that we have received more than 50 Expressions of Interest (EoI) from across Europe. The EoI is the first step prospective applicants need to take, after which a SmartX coach will start working with the company to ensure the eligibility of the concept and to prepare a high-quality application. For the first call, the deadline for submission of an EoI is 15th February, the deadline for submission of the full application is 29th February. On 18th February the last of our round of regional information sessions will take place in Vienna, Austria embedded into the Symposium Smart Textiles organised by the Austrian Association of the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear Industries.
