Textile ETP advocates innovation and sustainability at TEKO Event in Sweden

On 12 October, Textile ETP Secretary General, Lutz Walter spoke at the annual event of the Swedish textile and fashion industry, TEKO, emphasising the need for innovation and sustainability to revolutionize the textile industry.

Lutz Walter spoke in front of a packed room comprising 200 engaged listeners at the Textile Fashion Center in Borås, Sweden. Addressing the audience, he emphasises the importance of innovation in functional and sustainable materials, digital processes, circular business models, and responsible supply chains, that will play a pivotal role in transforming the textile industry in the years to come.

He also highlighted the role of Textile ETP (European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing) in providing European-wide innovation and business development contacts, learning about the latest technologies and easier access to EU funding.

The event served as a platform for industry stakeholders to collaborate, share insights, and chart a sustainable and innovative path forward for the textile industry. Textile ETP is grateful towards TEKO and especially Anne Ludvigson, Cecilia Nykvist for organising this inspiring day.
