We are delighted to inform you that Textile ETP will participate in ITMA 2023, the world's largest international textile and garment technology exhibition, in Milan, Italy, on 8-14 June 2023.

After 3 years and half, the RESERVIST project comes to an end. RESERVIST Final Event will take place on Friday 12 May, at the 10th European Conference on Protective Clothing in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

The 17th ETP’s Annual European Textile Conference and General Assembly and CITEVE's iTechStyle Summit will take place on 10-12 May, in Porto, Portugal.

This year, the 16th Textile ETP Annual Conference took place as a physical event in Brussels on 20-21 April 2022, It was combined with the final conference of the SmartX project as well as the annual General Assembly of the Textile ETP.

On 11 May, we will host our last Smart Textiles Masterclass dedicated to Product-Market Fit and Business Models. We will take this occasion to look back on the results and the solid network we have built and invite you to join our Final Conference in Milan on 31 May & 1 June 2022.

The 2021 edition of our Annual Conference has just closed! We are glad about the very good participation during these both days, we counted around 140+ participants on day 1 and 130+ on day 2.

More than 80 members joined our General Assembly on Monday, June 21st. It was a great moment of sharing 2020 achievements and 2021 initiatives such as the Strategic Programmes on Circular Economy and Biobased Fibres and the Smart Textiles Masterclass.

On 21 November 2019, a Textile Flagship 1 (Sustainable textile materials) symposium has been organised by Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede, the Netherlands. This high-quality symposium with some 50 participants from 12 countries was dedicated to the latest developments in mechanical and chemical post-consumer textile recycling, with speakers from companies, research organisations, Dutch national and European projects, and initiatives.

On 24 to 26 September the European Research and Innovation days organised by the European Commission took place in Brussels.

ETP Secretary-General Lutz Walter attended the 3 days of knowledge and experience sharing, policy co-creation, and networking to develop a better understanding of how HORIZON EUROPE, the next EU research, and innovation funding programme for 2021-2027 will look like.

The Textile ETP coordinated project SmartX - European Smart Textiles Accelerator - has participated in the first Regional Workshop that took place in Biella, Italy on 30th September hosted by Po.In.Tex. Some 35 participants attended workshop where the details of the upcoming first SmartX call were presented by Lutz Walter.
