Launch of a new Masterclass pilot on Textile Digitalisation
Are you interested in textile digitalisation - virtual materials and products, digitally enabled manufacturing, value chains and business models? The Textile ETP, in collaboration with CITEVE, DITF, ITA RWTH Aachen, ITM TU Dresden, STFI, and TEX IS MORE, launch a Masterclass pilot that prepares the ground for a potential full 15 to 18-month Masterclass Programme.

The members of the European Textile Technology Platform from the textile and clothing industry and related sectors applied research and higher education have collectively worked through surveys, interactive workshops, and collaborative document drafting for several months to produce a 2022 Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, designed to underpin the industry transformation targeted by the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles.

Launched recently, the new project Circular Economy Innovative Initiative for an Entrepreneurial Europe (CITE) aims to create a new dynamic and agile ecosystem in and between higher education institutions that will boost textile circularity and circular economy in innovation and entrepreneurial courses.

As part of the RESERVIST project, the Textile ETP organised a webinar in September 2022, gathering affected key stakeholders from the textile sector to share and discuss their experiences, challenges and insights.
